Adriana Abascal opens her Skorpios pop-up store in Paris
On Wednesday this week, Paris changed to Mexican time. Designer Adriana Abascal, a former Miss Mexico and model turned entrepreneur, was celebrating the opening of the Parisian pop-up store of her luxury shoe brand, Skorpios. Born out of her desire to leave her mark on the fashion industry, Skorpios stands out with its luxurious designs both sophisticated and fun, but also for its commitment to socially and environmentally responsible practices. The brand even partnered with a community from Oaxaca, Mexico, to help empower the women artisans who design the fabric pouches wrapping each pair of shoes. The Skorpios aesthetic is deeply rooted in Abascal’s personality – and zodiac sign! – which originated the name of the brand. To celebrate the opening of her pop-up store on Rue Bonaparte, the designer had invited friends like Lorena Vergani, Emmanuel Perrotin or Alexandra Golovanoff to come discover the space.
