“Selected Night” Marks Artcurial’s Participation in Paris Art Week
With ‘Selected Night’, Artcurial kicked off its contribution to the programme of Paris Art Week, opening a week dedicated to creativity and dialogue between disciplines. Organised within the “Nocturne Saint-Honoré Matignon”, this evening transformed the Hôtel Marcel Dassault into an immersive experience designed as an artistic journey featuring several unique exhibitions.
Visitors had the opportunity to discover Selected 20/21, a selection of masterpieces by internationally renowned artists such as Chagall, Botero, Soulages and Wesselmann, presented alongside The Dansant, an installation by artist Joana Vasconcelos in collaboration with Maison Bernardaud, celebrating the dialogue between contemporary art and exceptional craftsmanship. Highlights from forthcoming sales were also on display, comprising key works announced for the coming months, as well as French Collection, an exhibition by the French Centre of Design dedicated to excellence in French design.
The evening was organised in partnership with Résonance Paris, Le Bar Paris and Marie Brizard, as well as Maison de Champagne Perrier-Jouët, and hosted by the duo Feel Good Vinyl, who brought a festive atmosphere to this celebration of artistic creation in all its forms. Among those in attendance at the opening were Fabrice Hergott, Laurent Dassault, Louis Nègre and Brigitte Fossey.
