Ruinart Unveils Its New Champagne Address
Last night, we were treated to one last magical outdoor evening at 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES, in Reims. After 3 years of renovations, Maison Ruinart’s emblematic address finally unveiled its transformation. Thanks to Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, interior designer Gwenaël Nicolas and landscape architect Christophe Gautrand, the new face of this prestigious location embodies the vision of Nicolas Ruinart, who founded the Maison 300 years ago. Facing the century-old building, encompassed by a sculpture garden designed to embrace local biodiversity, 4 RUE DES CRAYÈRES is a unique address where this age-old heritage thrives in harmony with the ecosystem. Home to 110 works by 36 artists, the location is a genuine open-air gallery, appealing to erudite aesthetes and curious beginners.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a visual and musical performance by Michael Canitrot highlighted the building’s architectural lines, which are inspired by the signature design of Ruinart’s champagne bottles. Later that night, Zaho de Sagazan delivered an exclusive and intimate concert. During this sparkling evening, chaired by Frédéric Dufour, we met Laetitia Casta, Ludivine Sagnier, Aïssa Maïga, Raphael Quenard, Kelly Rutherford, Eva Jospin, Clément Delépine, Fabrice Bousteau, Alice Audouin, Anne Desnons-Bré, Louis Dreyfus, Clément Ghys, Jérôme Sans, Morgan Morris, and Henrique Oliveira.
