A finalist for the LVMH award, winner of the Pierre Bergé award at ANDAM, nothing seems to stop BLUEMARBLE founder Anthony Alvarez. In just a few months – BLUEMARBLE was created in 2019 – the brand has established itself as one of the most promising French – and American? – men labels. The recipe for success? A clever blend of pop culture, popular imagery and a mastery of sewing techniques. The founder, whose cultural references lie in his mixed family roots (born in New York to a Filipino father and a Spanish-Italian-French mother), is anything but a beginner, but this season he offers another fine demonstration of his abilities. Few sartorial references embellished with crystals, the craziest faux furs, color block looks, overlays and even prints… for a collection as playful as it is technical.
