Révélations Makes Its Comeback at the Grand Palais

Grand Palais, Paris

Révélations, the international biennial devoted to crafts and design organised by Ateliers d’Art de France, returns to the Grand Palais for its 7th edition, running from May 21st to 25th, 2025.

A genuine celebration of expertise and creativity, this year’s event brought together 550 designers from 35 countries to celebrate the vitality and diversity of the arts and crafts, set against a spectacular backdrop designed by Adrien Gardère. Some of this edition’s novelties included a new display on the balconies of the Grand Palais. Renowned craftsmen, young talents, art manufactures, galleries, designers, foundations, emblematic institutions and, for the first time, prestigious schools all unveiled unique works of art for a select audience of collectors and art lovers, as well as a host of connoisseurs, including architects, interior designers, Michelin-starred chefs, and artistic directors of luxury houses.

Italian craftsmanship was honoured through the work of 22 designers. From Carrara marble to Murano glass and Florence stone, Italy featured pieces by the exceptional Riccardo Gatti, who transcends marble, and the Memmo Venezia glassworks, illustrating thousands of years of craftsmanship.

The biennial’s international presence was emphasised by the unveiling of new participants at Le Banquet, the majestic signature exhibition of Révélations. For the first time, visitors were able to discover crafts from Bangladesh, Malaysia, Georgia and the Philippines, alongside other regions of the world such as Ibero-America (Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru), Brazil, South Korea, Greece, Italy, Ireland, the French Overseas Territories (Polynesia and the Caribbean) and Quebec.

As we await the 8th edition of the Révélations biennial, which will be held at the Grand Palais in 2027, Revelations China will be back for a 2nd edition, this time in Shanghai in November 2026. Organised by Global ACE, a partner of Ateliers d’Art de France, this event is meant to open up the field of fine craft creation to an even wider audience of international collectors.
