Looking Back at the Jean Paul Gaultier by Julien Dossena After Show
This is one of those initiatives that we’d like to see become a tradition. Back in 2021, Jean-Paul Gautier came up with the idea of entrusting the haute couture collection to a guest designer. This year, the Maison opened its doors to Rabanne’s artistic director, Julien Dossena, who has imagined a fall-winter 23-24 collection blending the essence of the Maison and his vision. Given the previous collaborations, conceived by masters like Chitose Abe, Olivier Rousteing and Glenn Martens, the stakes were high for the French designer. But Dossena rose to the challenge and delivered a magnificent exercise in couture. After the praisings that followed the catwalk, an after-show was held at Paul Gaultier’s headquarters that same evening. Celebrating this success to the rhythm of Andy 4000’s DJ set, we crossed paths with Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, Nix Lecourt Mansion, Maria Bernad, Raya Martigny, Clément Grobote and many others.
