RAINS Makes it Pour at Châtelet
How do you turn a waterproof fabric, something ultimately designed to protect against inclement weather, into the foundation of a fashion statement? The answer is clear for Tanne Vinter, Danish artistic director of the brand: By freeing ourselves from it without denying it. With that in mind, it comes as no surprise that outdoor, duffle, technical, straps, hoods, urban camouflage and mittens take over the centre stage. And so the RAINS women and men, all wrapped up, enveloped and clothed by the best finery, feel not only protected but also dressed to kill, and ready to face the hazards of life.
