Last Friday evening, while the rain was playing its most tearful symphony, many Parisians braved the bad weather, towards the Pavillon Puebla des Buttes-Chaumont, to celebrate the release of the Radiooooo x colette compilation. A ray of sunshine in a haven of peace, which brought together Clément Vaché, Polo & Pan, Benjamin Moreau, Noemi Ferst, Karl Planck and Victor Kiswell as well as the wonderful Klezmer brass band for his evening soundtrack.
Presented as a travel notebook illustrated by Noemi Ferst and Benjamin Moreau, the CD, once inserted in its reader, will take you from Seoul in the 80’s to France in the 10’s, via Mexico, India and many other exotic countries.
For those who do not know it yet, Radiooooo.com is a family of heteroclite characters, who live and work in Paris and make a strange and beautiful machine. They designed it to satisfy the curiosity and pleasure of their Earth friends in their great diversity. It is a machine that allows to travel in time and space. A kind of fabulous object, coming out of a science fiction film, that allows one to stroll through the history of Societies and the hearts of their inhabitants, that gives the power to dig, like a mad archaeologist, into the culture of the world from the beginning of the last century until today. If you don’t understand anything, you just have to do one thing: run to colette, buy it and listen to it.
On sale at colette and on colette.fr / 25 euros
