A few days ago, Rabih Kayrouz presented his new haute couture collection during a show that can be described as exceptional. The Lebanese creator celebrated all the women, all ages, and had in particular made Sophie Fontanel parade all smile (and very at ease) while the Marie-Agnès Gillot Star delivered an electric performance in the middle of impassive models. Two faces that we found yesterday in the showroom Maison Rabih Kayrouz for the launch of his collaboration with the high-end sunglasses house Revel Paris. Under the high ceilings and glass walls of the 7th arrondissement’s showroom, guests (Sarah Andelman, Lorena Vergani and Lauren Bastide were present) gathered around an intimate dinner in the light of the candle and in the colours of the collaborab. “Two circles and two branches” for glasses that are as simple as child’s play – and yet are quality objects made in France in hundred pieces per model. This was the perfect opportunity for all the designer’s friends to have fun trying on their favourite models, before getting together around the big table to share an inspired meal around the flavours of Lebanon.
