“Quatre is 20”: The 20th Anniversary of Boucheron’s Quatre Collection at Place Vendôme
First launched in 2004, Boucheron’s Quatre collection turns 20 this year, marking two decades of international success. This celebration is the perfect occasion to delve into its rich origins, evolution and iconicity. “You can’t just create an icon. It’s something that gets forged over time. It stands out because it resonates with society,” says Hélène Poulit-Duquesne, CEO of Boucheron. This statement embodies the bold stylistic choice taken by the Maison when they first decided to combine three shades of gold – white, yellow and pink – with their cousin, chocolate, obtained from a PVD coating. Following this first daring move, was a second: to combine different motifs seemingly opposed yet deeply steeped in Boucheron’s heritage. “Gros grain”, “Clou de Paris”, “Ligne de Diamant” and “Double jonc”, each of these elements making up Quatre play a major role in Boucheron’s tale. This narrative is deeply tied to 26 Place Vendôme, the place where Frédéric Boucheron set up the very first jewellery shop. On the occasion of this celebratory evening, the Maison invited celebrities, journalists and KOLs to praise the significance of this gem in the jewellery vocabulary. We caught a glimpse of XXXX.
