Prix d’Excellence de la Mode Marie-Claire 2012
Last Tuesday, Marie-Claire magazine and its international jury awarded the “Prix d’Excellence de la Mode” to Elephant Paname, the capital’s new hybrid venue dedicated to the arts and dance. For seven years now, this middle event has been the closing event of the fashion shows by honouring the best actors of the season, distinguished in eight categories, from the best designer to the revelation of modeling, including the influential woman, the rising value, and the honorary prize. The latter was awarded to Jean-Charles de Castelbajac for his body of work in the run-up to the publication of his anniversary book. Other recipients include Peter Dundas, Louis Vuitton, Pierre Hardy, Cédric Charlier Maria, Luisa Poumaillou, Cartier, and Julia Frauche. FW is over, with honors!
