Preview of the exhibition “I am Fifty” by Juergen Teller
Juergen Teller, star photographer of the planets art and fashion (among others), celebrates his half-century with a personal exhibition at the Suzanna Tarasieve Gallery. “I am fifty” gathers three distinct photographic sets (although particularly representative of the artist’s work): The series Woo (2013), which desacralizes the clichés of art and fashion by creating a wallpaper with an assembly of works put on the same plane ; “Masculin” (2013), whose self-portraits echo the artist’s visit to the exhibition Masculin / Masculin at the Musée d’Orsay last year; and the series “Irene im Wald” (2012), the most intimate of the three, the fruit of a walk in the forest with her mother Irene.
