Every year since 2000, the Fondation d’Entreprise Ricard awards an emerging artist from the young French scene at the Centre Pompidou. On Thursday evening at the award ceremony, the 2013 Ricard Corporate Foundation Prize was awarded to Lili Reynaud Dewar for her series of films entitled “I’m intact and I don’t care” (2013).
The artist proposes three videos between Vienna, the Belvedere, his Augarten residence, in Dijon at the Consortium and in his studio in Grenoble. She dances there, puts away her studio, reads, smokes, documenting her work as an artist, her intimate life but also the history of the institutions she crosses. A work offered to the Centre Pompidou and to be discovered in the new presentation of the contemporary collections of the Centre Pompidou in “Une histoire. Art, architecture and design from the 1980s to the present” since July 2.
