Presentation of the ANDAM Grand Prize
The coveted ANDAM Grand Prize was awarded last Thursday, July 6, after months of speculation within the fashion intelligentzia. Tergiversations also among the talented scouts of the big ready-to-wear houses (notably LVMH, sponsor of the 2012 edition) who are closely watching for the next nuggets of the international fashion scene. Happy winner of the 230 000 euros endowment, the French Julien David jumps on a first-class media springboard, and joins the ranks of the prestigious list of winners formed by Anthony Vaccarello, Felipe Oliveira Baptista, or Giles Deacon. Recipient of the Prix des premières collections, the founding trio of Pièce d’Anarchive (Priscilla Royer, Virginie Muys and Deborah Royer) received a substantial grant of 60,000 euros, succeeding Yiqing Yin.
