Place Vendôme Buzzes with Chaumet’s Precious Bees
During his reign, Napoleon transformed the bee into a symbol of the empire’s splendour thanks to Chaumet, his official jeweller. Last night, Chaumet paid tribute to this rich heritage with its new honeycombed collection: “Bee de Chaumet”. To officially introduce these jewels, the Maison staged a beautiful honeycombed-inspired light show on the facade of its private hotel, featuring playful bees blending into sparkling jewel pieces, which some lucky guests could wear around their necks. Guests were able to admire the play of light emanating from the mirror-polished gold, but also the gemstones’ perfect honeycombed shape and the sophisticated stacking of bracelets. With these creations, the Maison made its mark on a flamboyant Paris Fashion Week. After a thrilling DJ set by Dorian and Dustin and a performance by I Could Never Be A Dancer, we met Yu Shi, Seungmin, Leïla Bekhti, Vassili Schneider, Kelly Rutherford, Ed Westwick, Emilia Clarke and Paris Jackson.
