In the streets of Florence for Pitti Uomo 95
Hard to believe Pitti Uomo just celebrated its 95th edition this week! Twice a year, Florence becomes the epicenter of street style. The largest fair dedicated to menswear always provokes fashion encounters: through its thousands of exhibitors, or simply by strolling through the city meeting “Pitti People,” the well-dressed dandies on the outskirts of the Fortezza da Basso. This year, the fair featured Y/Project and the brand’s designer Glenn Martens as the guest of honor; Martens presented a new collection to fashion journalists, buyers and style experts, all eager to see his creations. This Pitti Uomo also provided the rediscovery of Korean brand Beyond Closet, which entrusted the show’s fashion styling to respected fashion editor Gary Armstrong.
