Phillips: Exhibition of Future New York Contemporary Art Sales

PHILLIPS presents a selection of works from upcoming New York contemporary art sales in its Paris exhibition space at 46 rue du Bac, until 13 April 2015. This exhibition gives the opportunity to discover a major work by Domenico Gnoli, which announces the sale of Italian art, curated by Francesco Bonami on May 6 in New York: The Great Wonderful, 100 years of Italian art.

Latin American art is also in the spotlight with the work Présage, 1947, by the Cuban master Wifredo Lam, in dialogue with Constantin Brancusi’s The Sleeping Child, conceived in 1907, in direct lineage with the Sleeping Muse of 1910.

Three Chamberlain sculptures find their place alongside Brice Marden, Robert Ryman and Ed Ruscha works from an important Dallas collection, accompanied by Cy Twombly and Gerhard Richter.
