Petite Friture celebrates the new “Donut Mug” with a summer dinner

Petite Friture (or “Little Fry”, in English), contrary to what it name might suggest, is a French design publisher with a colorful, graphic and poetic universe. The brand, present in more than 60 countries and widely established on the design scene, is “Little” in name only. Its founder, Amélie du Passage, is always in search for emerging talent, and this summer welcomes the work of Pia Chevalier. The designer imagined for Petite Friture, the “Donut Mug” collection: ceramic mugs, whose handle recalls that of the famous doughnut, and the glaze evokes the glaze. The team chose to celebrate the launch of these tableware products in Montreuil, in a converted former factory, a few steps from its showroom. Guests – including Name Isackson, Andy Picci and Samuel Eckert – had a unique opportunity to let their imagination run wild and create their own version of the Donut Mug. The ceramic apprentices were delighted to sit down at the table with chef Zelikha Dinga (you may know her from her Caro Diario project), who orchestrated a colorful gourmet dinner for the occasion. No doubts, the generosity, so dear to the heart of Petite Friture, was present in every Little detail.
