In the Musée Guimet’s Japanese gardens, Petit Bateau just celebrated the launch of a capsule collection in collaboration with Studio Ghibli. Because adults do not have the privilege of Parisian events, the children were the guests of honor that afternoon, and the event quickly became a true family reunion. Inside the museum, one could discover the the collection’s pieces : a selection of jerseys bearing the image of Totoro, Princess Mononoké, and some of the most emblematic characters of the legendary Japanese animation studio founded by Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata. In the garden, the kids (who were all dressed in their favorite striped jerseys) participated in a choir with violin and piano. In the audience, their proud parents had also adopted the marine stripe for the occasion.
