Petanque art

Philippe Jousse, Patrice Joly and Colette Barbier made our holiday pleasures last by organising a big petanque competition at the heart of the Belleville Biennale. 21 teams answered the call and tried their hand at the joys of the ball, with more or less dexterity. The participation of the Palais de Tokyo and the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard, as well as the honorary presence of the reigning French champions of the dotted line, will be noted. A fight that was relentless, under the sun benefactor of the Indian summer, for victory but especially for the trophy, created for the occasion by the artist Mathieu Mercier.
