The Perrotin Gallery received in Switzerland, in honor of Takashi Murakami who presented on the stand of Art Basel a solo show of his new series of paintings Enso, calligraphic motif of the circle, primordial in the pictorial tradition of Zen Buddhism.
An important exhibition of Takashi Murakami’s recent work – including the masterpiece”The 500 Arhats” 100 m long and 3 m high, representing the 500 wise men who reached enlightenment – will take place at the Mori Art Museum Tokyo from 31 October 2015 to 06 March 2016. In addition, the artist’s collection will be unveiled to the public for the first time at the Yokohama Museum of Art from January 30 to April 3, 2016.
