Perfume Made Apparel by Louis Gabriel Nouchi

One of the most eagerly-anticipated shows of the week, Louis Gabriel Nouchi took over la Monnaie de Paris to unveil his latest collection yesterday afternoon. Titled “Under my skin”, the SS25 collection by the French designer is inspired – as fashion connoisseurs are sure to expect – by a great literary work, Patrick Süskind’s “The Perfume”. Through a sensual interplay of transparencies, textures and materials, Louis Gabriel Nouchi manages to evoke the subtleties of scent, transposing qualities of the olfactory sense into garments. After their first appearance last January, the women’s silhouettes are back on the LGN catwalks this season, demonstrating the designer’s firm commitment to reinventing masculinity in a way that is as inclusive as it is seductive.

Present in the front row were Yvesmark Chery, Baptiste Giabiconi, Pierre Painchaud, Aime Simone, Sarah Andelman, Kiddy Smile, and Arnaud Valois.
