Parley for the Oceans talks and dinner
Mimi Xu and Pete Drungle concluded with music the Parley talks and dinner, held last night at and with the Baths on the occasion of COP21.
“Ocean. Climate. Life””: Cyrill Gutsch and Jefferson Hack, the respective founders of Parley and Dazed Media, spoke about this major ecological issue before a mainly VIP assembly committed to the preservation of the planet, under the aegis of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate.
Parley for the Oceans is an organization of creators, researchers and leaders whose goal is to raise awareness of the beauty and fragility of the oceans and to cooperate on projects to protect and preserve them. The initiative is committed to addressing key threats to the oceans through unique approaches, including involving the fashion and art sectors through partnerships and awareness-raising projects. For example, Parley has already collaborated with artists and activists such as Julian Schnabel, Captain Paul Watson, Tom Sachs, David LaChapelle and Olafur Eliasson.
