PAD London Kicks Off its 17th Edition in Mayfair

Mayfair, Londres

An established event in the Mayfair district, PAD London is back for its 17th edition. As always, only the most prestigious galleries from Europe, North America and Asia and the most avant-garde designers have been selected to exhibit at Berkeley Square. PAD has earned its international reputation by promoting the finest works in terms of craftsmanship and innovation, cultivating eclecticism and authenticity with passion and flair.

Each year, the fair establishes a connection between the past and present through a dialogue between emerging designers and established galleries. The event, which launched in London on Tuesday, continues to attract international publishers, with a particular focus on iconic craftsmanship and new design that embraces sustainability issues. Designed to inspire collectors, art consultants, museum curators, interior specialists, designers and the public, PAD is truly a one-of-a-kind event.

This year, the jury chaired by Tim Marlow awarded the Stand Prize to Sceners Gallery, launched by Jonathan Haddad and David Atlan. The Contemporary Design Prize went to Faye Toogood, presented by Friedman Benda Gallery, and the Design Prize to Pierre Chareau, presented by Laffanour / Downtown Gallery.

At this year’s London edition, we met winners Jonathan Haddad, David Atlan and Faye Toogood, alongside their galerists Marc Benda, Jennifer Olshin and François Laffanour, as well as Tim Marlow, Patrick Perrin, Jean-Paul Veison Marcelli and many others.
