“Oud Stallion”, Maison Crivelli’s New Perfume Inspired by Horse Races
As the horses galloped past him in a race, Thibaud Crivelli was struck by a unique and powerful blend of scents, made up of oud wood, leather and smoky spices. Drawing on this vivid memory, he created ‘Oud Stallion’, a scent developed in collaboration with renowned perfumer Jordi Fernandez, made of a spicy accord of high-quality cardamom and nutmeg as head notes. These scents are accentuated by the captive Givaudan molecule (called Safraleine), mixed with saffron, leathery and woody scents. The heart note is made of a floral accord of rose and geranium essential oils, as well as osmanthus and jasmine absolutes, bringing richness and luminosity to the fragrance. Guaiac wood and a blend of cedar and patchouli essential oils give the fragrance its smoky character. Roasted tonka bean and cistus add fullness and prolong the floral accord while bringing a comforting aspect to the smoky base.
At the launch, we met Giuseppe Gioffre, Andrea Ali, Antoine Waldner, Sofia Silvanas, Alessio Boni and Jordan Hames.
