Ottolinger FW25’s Sense of Proportion: Fur, Technique and Scarification
When it comes to streetwear, Switzerland is rarely among the main references. However, Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient wrote the first chapter of their country’s contribution to the style with the foundation of Ottolinger, a label with an asserted urban biker aesthetic that has taken the world by storm. In line with their signature style, the collection is all about contrast, found in the combination of furs and technical jackets, scarred dresses and broad-shouldered suit jackets, lamé trousers and fluorescent sneakers. Details like the back pockets of ripped jeans, or fluorescent plastic wristwatches add a very Y2K flair to the proposal. Once again, the duo proves, and quite effectively, that they know how to deliver a fashion show like we like them.
We crossed paths with Sam Quealy, Ogee, Martyna Maya, Heart Evangelista, DING, and Aime Simone.
