ORLAN Brings “Slow” Back in Vogue
French artist ORLAN has drawn an alarming conclusion from the successive lockdowns that have marked our recent times: physical contact has been lost. To bring it back to the fore, she has written an album devoted to the “slow”, languorous dance that was the highlight of late-night parties in the 80s. With quite a singular staging and an astonishingly suitable soundtrack, the evening gave artists the opportunity to show their reinterpretations of the famous “slow”. After a preamble in a secret room at the Olympia, the evening moved on to Silencio, where we caught a glimpse of Michèle Lamy, Benat Moreno, Diane Pernet, Léonard Lasry, David Herman and Christophe Mecca among other personalities.
