Orient Express unveils a collection of travel objects at La Samaritaine

You don’t need to look further than Paris to go on a trip. At La Samaritaine, which reopened last June after fifteen years of renovation works (!), Orient Express is currently displaying a complete collection of travel objects. Under the direction of its Vice President Guillaume de Saint Lager, the legendary train (popularized in literature by Agatha Christie) has now blossomed into a brand dedicated to the art of luxury living. It will complete its expansion in 2023 with the opening of the very first Orient Express hotel. Today, the brand is taking over a 120 square meter space on the Samaritaine’s first floor with a scenography designed by architect Hugo Toro. Entitled ‘Steam Dream’, the collection includes no less than seventeen collaborations with houses known for highlighting exceptional craftsmanship. Among them, Trudon, Au Départ, Thierry Wasser or Bernardaud. A few days before the Paris Fashion Week kick off, Orient Express invited some of the capital’s major fashion players to discover the space and the collection. The evening continued with a private dinner at the Voyage restaurant, which is nestled on the top floor of the building, under its glass roof surrounded by its historical fresco…
