Art and State-Of-The-Art Technology: A Collaboration Between The Opéra de Paris, Ledger, Kiritosu Studio and Le Meurice

Le Meurice, Paris

Last night, an ambitious and resolutely avant-garde vision was celebrated at Le Meurice: that of an unprecedented dialogue between art and cutting-edge technologies. A world leader in digital asset security, Ledger took the opportunity to announce its daring partnership with the Opéra national de Paris called “Coddess Variations”. This revolutionary artistic project is born of the encounter between sculptor Hermine Bourdin and director Hervé Martin Delpierre.

Produced by Kiritosu Studio, “Coddess Variations” transcends the boundaries of traditional art by fusing sculpture, contemporary dance (with choreographer Ania Catherine and Paris Opera Ballet dancer Eugénie Drion), film and blockchain to create an immersive and original work. This project marks the dawn of a new era, in which emerging technologies become a medium for liberated, sensitive and committed creativity.

As a partner of the film and the Under the Moon events, Le Meurice — a legendary institution imbued with surrealism and dear to Salvador Dalí — has naturally become the cradle of this encounter between artistic heritage and innovation. The splendid decor of the hotel’s lounges resonates fully with the universe of the film: a contemporary tribute to French culture, somewhere between daydreaming, metamorphosis and digital exploration.

Through this partnership, Ledger is strongly affirming its commitment to the preservation and promotion of digital art. After an initial NFT collection made by the Opéra national de Paris, this film marks a new step in the conquest of a wider audience – from opera lovers to digital art collectors, and from cinema enthusiasts to Web3 explorers. This is only the beginning: the next stages of this project will take place in Berlin and Sydney in 2025, heralding the advent of global, visionary contemporary art.
