Opening of the Shchukin Gallery
On the occasion of its official inauguration at 4 avenue Matignon in Paris, the Gallery Shchukin entrusted its public relations to Emmanuel de Brantes & Associés and filled up with personalities from the Arts, Performing Arts and Finance for the solo show of American artist David Datuna. At the origin of this new project: Nicolaï Shchukin, one of the descendants of the famous eponymous family, a renowned patron, collects avant-garde signatures: Malevitch, Kandinsky and Rodtchenko, but also the Paris School (Chagall) and the Fauves (van Dongen…). His family has contributed to the most prestigious museum collections in Russia, including those of the Hermitage and the Pushkin Museum.
