Top start launched last Monday: Colette Paris will host until December 8 the exhibition “Greece” of the photographer Platon. After having frozen the portrait of many personalities from the socio-political-cultural sphere for major magazines such as Rolling Stone, the New York Times Magazine, W or Vanity Fair, the artist exposes himself and his history with the island of Paros. His eye covers a quarter of a century, in black and white, to get out of ignorance this shy expanse of land and sublimate “its people”. A series of monochrome portraits, then, that will neutralize Helios’ murderous rays, or at least will certainly soothe his blows on the artist’s family, friends and inspiration.
