Jérôme Poggi inaugurates the sixth season of his gallery by inviting the young French collector Thibault Poutrel to exhibit a selection of works from his collection, also built up over the past six years.
A graduate of Sciences Po and the London School of Economics and politicals sciences, Thibault Poutrel (born in 1977) turned after his studies towards the world of investment and new technologies. Making a clear link between his interest in innovation as an investor and his curiosity for contemporary creation as a collector, he has been building a collection of international artists since 2009, reflecting a taste for issues related to memory, history and identity.
Taking the title of a work by Georges Tony Stoll, the exhibition “Sans titre (je suis là)” brings together some thirty works. Among the artists: Julien CRÉPIEUX, Cevdet EREK, Danh VO, Sophie RISTELHUEBER, Vittorio SANTORO, Thu Van TRAN, Evariste RICHER, Georges Tony STOLL, Oscar MUÑOZ, or Etienne CHAMBAUD.
