ARTAGON is a neologism to remember.” Art” for visual arts and”agôn”, the ancient Greek word, for competition. The ARTAGÔN collective honours young artists studying in public art schools, giving them the opportunity to meet during a collective exhibition in Paris.
For this first very sustained edition, the competition brought together 30 young artists selected among 200 students from ten schools having lent themselves to the game of opening their workshop to the jury, chaired by Jean-Jacques Aillagon.
