The fifth edition of Asia Now opens its doors in Paris
Asia Now is happening … now. The contemporary art fair showcasing the diversity of Asia’s contemporary art scene opened the doors for its fifth edition in Paris. Running through October 20th in parallel to FIAC, the fair, founded by Claude and Alexandra Fain, invites amateurs and specialists in contemporary art to a private mansion on the Avenue Hoche to discover their cutting-edge programming. X ZHu-Nowell, assistant curator of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, took the reins as guest curator of this 2019 Asia Now edition. After South Korea in 2017 and Japan last year, X ZHu-Nowell is taking a thematic approach with “Platform IRL {In Real Life}” giving voice to a new generation of artists born in the digital age.
