Nicolas Ouchenir revisits great icons for Collector Square

Three years ago, Nicolas Orlowski (CEO of the auction house Artcurial) and Loïc Bocher co-founded Collector Square, which has become the new essential for collectors of luxury items. The project includes nearly ten thousand objects selected for their excellence—spanning leather goods to watches and jewelry—which seduce seasoned connoisseurs through its website. An Hermès Birkin bag, Boy by Chanel, New Look by Dior: the offerings are rare, emblematic luxury objects. To celebrate the end of the year in style, Collector Square called upon calligrapher Nicolas Ouchenir to create “gift lists” inspired by icons of the 20th century. Ouchenir works with the major fashion and couture houses to create the elegant invitations to their runway shows. Here, he drew upon legends like Elizabeth Taylor, Catherine Deneuve, Marilyn Monroe, and Serge Gainsbourg to inspire a selection of gifts. At the Collector Square showroom, located in a private mansion on boulevard Raspail, the curation proposes the perfect array of iconic gifts.
