Mucem and Pernod Ricard Introduce : “L’ami.e modèle”
Pernod Ricard Foundation has invited artist and curator Mathieu Mercier to create an exhibition addressing the notion of friendship in art. The show, set up at the Mucem – Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilizations – in Marseille, brings together portraits of artists by other artists.
This collective exhibition was designed to overlook the contemporary art scene through an original display, reminiscent of old houses with family portraits. Through paintings, photographs and drawings, the works and artists – emerging and established – presented here are dear to the Pernod Ricard Foundation and offer a broad panorama of all artistic practices.
