Moncler Genius reveals new collection in Milan
It’s the genius that keeps getting smarter. Moncler once again pushed the limits of the puffer jacket with the launch of its latest Moncler Genius collaboration to wrap Milan Fashion Week with innovation and imagination. JW Anderson, Rimowa and Danish electric bike start-up Mate.bike joined this game-changing project that asks multiple creative directors to give life to their unique visions of the brand’s DNA. Now in its third year, the new collection marks the first time the brand has branched out to partner with lifestyle brands. Their motto: “One house, different voices.” Other voices in this symphony of couture and cold-weather technology include Matthew Williams of 1017 ALYX 9SM and Richard Quinn. Sergio Zambon and Veronica Leoni for Moncler 1952, Sandro Mandrino for Moncler Grenoble, Simone Rocha, Craig Green and Fragment’s Hiroshi Fujiwara. The brand is also experimenting and innovating beyond human dimensions with the Moncler Poldo Dog Couture luxury collection for four-legged fashionistas. Moncler took over a massive Milanese warehouse to transform it into a complete fashion fantasy village where designers showcased their creations on runways throughout the space complete with bright lights, fog machine-made smoke and excitement from the très chic guests on and off the runway including Kaia Gerber, Carine Roitfeld, Alexander Werz and Cindy Bruna. Warm up with our photos from this unforgettable event.
