Moët & Chandon Launches Its 280th Anniversary Year by Turning the Palais Brongniart into Gold

Is it possible to celebrate the New Year without champagne? This incredible nectar is part of the festive ritual and Moët & Chandon is its most prestigious representative. On Thursday 15th, the French House closed the Moët Effervescence world tour with a final event in the golden nave of the Palais Brongniart. The evening was conceived as a prelude to the year 2023 and a tribute to the 280th anniversary of the internationally renowned House, founded in 1743. During this special event, guests had the chance to taste a 2004 anniversary cuvée and indulge in first-class culinary creations prepared by three-starred chef Yannick Alléno. Chefs Alexia Duchêne and Yann Couvreur also brought their gourmet delights to the table to accompany a tasting of the classic Moët Imperial and Moët Imperial Rosé. The evening was punctuated by speeches from Roger Federer, Moët & Chandon’s international ambassador, Berta De Pablos-Barbier, President and CEO of Moët & Chandon and Laure Baume, President and CEO of Moët Hennessy Diageo, as well as live music from Angèle and Gloria Gaynor. The evening ended with a DJ set by Kungs, and was attended by Vincent Cassel, Natalie Portman, Guillaume Canet, Céline Salette, Ana Girardot and Sara Sampaio.
