Moderne Art Fair at the Ephemeral Pavilion on the Champs-Elysées
During Paris Art Week, the ephemeral pavilion on the Champs Elysées gets dressed up in its finest attire. Among the main events of the programme, we find Moderne Art Fair. Every year, this highly-anticipated event contributes to the cultural effervescence that spreads over the French capital during the “historic Parisian Art Week”. From 19 to 22 October 2023, Moderne Art Fair welcomes art dealers and collectors in search of both emerging and established figures of the art industry. Designed to attract the most demanding connoisseurs, Moderne Art Fair offers a selection of exceptional works and objects by some of the biggest names on the art scene from the twentieth century to the present day. This 2023 edition, brings together over sixty French and cosmopolitan galleries, thus creating a coherent dialogue between modern art, contemporary art, and design – for contemporary art cannot stand independently from its historical foundations, and it is important to cultivate a strong link between the past and the present. Great art-historical references that marked the twentieth century coexist with contemporary artists, ensuring the continuity of this everlasting narrative.
