MM6 House Martin Margiela opening party

After a first world opening in New York last September, Maison Martin Margiela inaugurates its second MM6 boutique, this time in Europe, place du Marché St Honoré. 80m2 covered with industrial tiles, for a single parquet path to stain this minimalist ceramic box that will serve as a showcase for the models in the MM6 line – a more affordable version of the Margiela DNA, unstructured cuts, contemporary materials and diversion in the head.

After being welcomed by the mysterious white coats so dear to the House, the hundred or so young people (let’s say 200) invited to the inauguration joined the glass heart of the square for the luminous POOM live, followed by the DJ set of the Twinsmatics duo! Hot dogs and burgers for snacks, and champagne for everyone in glasses where you can read your age once emptied of their contents.

After a fortnight in Cannes spent under the weight of the ectoplasm bling bling hovering over the seventh art, it is a refreshing return of hype that MMM and his clan offers us. MMWonderful.
