Mixte Celebrates the Release of its Latest Issue “We will always be those kids” at L’Aventure
As the recent Spring-Summer 25 collections have clearly shown, the world of fashion is increasingly inspired by childhood. From the Coperni fashion show at Disneyland to Bottega Veneta’s animal poufs, this trend can be seen on many brands. That’s why Mixte chose to name its latest issue “We will always be those kids”. The publication is a veritable ode to childhood, fantasy, the joy of creating and the freedom to explore beyond limits and norms. Ten different covers introduce mischievous photo series, highlighting the playful Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami collaboration, as well as surveys and analyses of this phenomenon. There are also plenty of interviews with older kids like Colm Dillane (KidSuper) and Thom Browne, but also with the younger generation, including Malik Frikah, Marie Colomb and Julia Daka. The magazine is full of carefreeness and nostalgia for a time when everything was simpler.
One month after the release of this unusual edition, Mixte brought together many prestigious guests for an exceptional dinner at the L’Aventure restaurant. They were treated to a hushed, intimate atmosphere, enhanced by deliciously Japanese-influenced dishes, and a lovely finishing touch: a milk chocolate teddy bear adorned with the title of the publication. During this tasty dinner, we met duos Zomer (Imruh Asha & Daniel Aitouganov) and AlainPaul (Alain Paul & Luís Philippe), DJ and singer Carla Genus, architect Julia Daka, painter Jan Melka…
