Back To The Future by Missoni
Any doubts surrounding Missoni’s Fall-Winter 25/26 collection were dissipated in a highly satisfying surprise as soon as the Fashion Show began. Represented by the return of Alberto Caliri Angela, Missoni’s historic right-hand man, this season marked a clear return to the roots of the brand, which proved spectacularly reassuring. The collection proves to be a strong identity statement both about the brand’s aesthetics and the lifestyle it represents. Knitwear is obviously the main focus. To give a signal of discontinuity with the past, Caliri decides to leave aside the iconic zigzag motif and instead focuses on other important graphic patterns from the archive. Most of these pieces, maxi cardigans, sweaters, coats and jackets, designed for everyday life, are worn one over the other, on bare legs. For the evening, the same casual layering is matched with sequins and lurex combined with wool, on silhouettes that pay homage to the unisex glamour of the Seventies. Among others, the event was not missed by Coma Cose, Violante Placido, Sarah Toscano and Chiara Galiazzo.
