Milan Fashion Week: sitting front row at Arthur Arbesser Spring/Summer 2019
Say Who kicks off Milan Fashion Week with Arthur Arbesser. The designer, recently appointed artistic director of Fay (a brand within the Tod’s group), presented this Wednesday his Spring/Summer 2019 collection for his eponymous brand. Arthur Arbesser’s fashion shows are always much-awaited: the designer is considered one of the most brilliant of his generation. The venue chosen is atypical, sober and raw: a disused craft factory in the Isola district of Milan. The models get dressed in a room where one still finds scraps of wood gathered in a corner, which testifies to the original use of the building. Backstage, things are crazy, but Arbesser grants us a 5-minute interview right before the show starts. At the same time, many fashion, art and design personalities look for their front row seats alongside influencers from all over the world. As Say Who prepares to infiltrate the closed circle of Italian fashion, it all begins with this first major event, and an exclusive backstage & front row look.
