When Valérie Messika celebrates the opening of her first Flagship store on Rue Saint-Honoré, she does things big. Big and beautiful, like its rivers of diamonds that the Maison de joaillerie has been making according to the rules of its know-how for (almost) ten years now. In good, also, very good, even, since the designer gave an appointment to her guests at Apicius, the 2 star Michelin lair of the affable Jean-Pierre Vigato.
In Saywho’s memory, never before had cocktails been so famous, whether on the porch of the private mansion or even in the stainless steel, in the bubbling atmosphere of the Chef’s kitchens. To perfect so much delight, the Englishman Birdy gave a live performance on white piano while the Studio Harcourt installed his photo booth in the adjoining lounge.
A real moment of poetry, illuminated by the haute-joaillerie collection presented that evening, as well as a handful of jewels from French cinema.
