Revealing emerging photographs and awakening unknown images is the mantra of OFFsociety, a new cultural project centred on photography launched by Anna Alix Koffi. For its first feat of arms, the team chose to hang a special selection Valentine’s Day made after The Kiss of Washington Square. A skillful selection from the work of Isi Véléris, an American photographer, a significant contributor to the fashion press of the 1970s and, incidentally, a great friend of Guy Bourdin. The one who also made his classes with Richard Avedon is not yet a page to turn since he rejoiced the guests, last night, of his presence at the opening of the exhibition in the Chinese lounge of the Costes Hotel. Mariama and the duo Vicky Banjo performed live acoustically in order not to take anything away from the delights of this assimilated day 69 (or 25, in Anja Rubik version). Review.
