Maya Lakis and Mélanie Huynh present their collaboration
Maya Lakis and Mélanie Huynh have a lot going for them. The former is the founder of her eponymous luxury women’s shoe brand, the latter is one of the most fashionable Parisian stylists and founder of her own beauty brand, Holidermie. Their collaboration on the Maya Lakis Fall-Winter 2021-22 collection was written in the stars, the birth of a friendship even. The collection consists in a boot in limited edition and available in four colors: black, beige, blue and gray. For this collection, the two designers took inspiration from the energy of the cosmos, using patterns of stars, moons and charms to decorate the leg like a precious jewel. 15% of the sales generated by the collection will be donated to ‘Toutes à l’école’, an association launched in 2005 by Tina Kieffer in order to offer free quality education to the most destitute girls in Cambodia. To celebrate the collection’s launch, Maya Lakis and Mélanie Huynh invited their friends (including Chloé Lecareux, Zoia Mossour, Mara Lafontan and Estelle Chemouny Pigault) to put on these exceptional boots and choose their favorite color in the intimate atmosphere of a suite at the Grand Hôtel du Palais-Royal (which now houses the Holidermie spa).
