Massinissa SELMANI wins the SAM 2016 Award

Last Friday evening at the Tokyo Art Club, the SAM Prize was awarded to the artist Massinissa SELMANI at the last meeting of contemporary art in 2016. Created in 2009, the SAM Prize for Contemporary Art is awarded each year before Christmas to a French performing artist working in the field of visual and visual arts and presenting a project destined for a foreign country (outside Europe and North America). With a prize of 20,000 euros, the Prize is accompanied by an exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo in the months following its journey and the publication of a monograph. The jury composed of Laurent le Bon, Jean de Loisy, Jean-Hubert Martin, Alfred Pacquement, Thierry Raspail, Marc-Olivier Wahler and Marie-Ann Yemsi chose from a hundred entries to reward the artist Massinissa SELMANI for her artistic project for Algeria and New Caledonia.
