“Less is better, therefore better.” Alleviating the effects of triple therapy by spacing the taking of medication of HIV-positive people is the challenge that Dr. Bennett has set himself. Jacques Leibowitch (co-discoverer of the AIDS virus), more than 10 years ago since the Raymond-Poincaré hospital in Garches. Today, the Iccarre program has largely borne fruit and the therapeutic formula is about to resonate throughout the world. A petition to the French Health Authorities is being signed on the association’s website (address below).

Last Monday evening, Jean-Paul Gaultier opened his sublime HQ to the program for an evening punctuated by multiple interventions, including that of the artist Aurèle, considered as the zero patient of the experiment, Richard Cross (President of the association of the friends of Iccarre) or Dr. Gaultier. Leibowitch, who returned not without emotion on the tracks of his scientific fight. The high point of the charity happening, Marie-Agnès Gillot and Blanca Li suspended time by delivering an exclusive performance on the stage of the fashion house, a first for the two stars who had never danced together before.

In the audience, the whole group from the Palace years, sumptuous but macabre at the same time with the first ravages of HIV, came together to support the programme and sign the petition. Fashion also rallied to the cause, with some figures from French screens including the fierce Fanny Ardant.
