“Lady Rosa” : the face of femininity by Malìparmi and Alda Giunti at Pitti Uomo
Here we go! The 95th edition of Pitti Uomo—the international men’s ready-to-wear fair, hosted at the impressive Fortezza da Basso—has begun. On the agenda: thousands of exhibitors, product launches, and events around men’s fashion in Florence. On Day 1, the Verona-based women’s ready-to-wear and accessories brand Malìparmi, and its president Annalisa Paresi, welcomed the Italian artist Alda Giunti for an exhibition, “Lady Rosa,” which was celebrated with a cocktail reception at Malìparmi’s Florentine boutique. Alda Giunti’s paintings honor the universal woman: her stylized faces leave room for various interpretations. The exhibition provided a dialogue between Malìparmi’s 2019 Spring-Summer “Liberty” collection (full of colors, prints and embroideries) and Alda Giunti’s expression of feminine beauty.
