Maison Lesage Celebrates its 100th Anniversary with a Dazzling Exhibition at 19M
For a hundred years, the embroidery work of Maison Lesage has been a marvelous addition to the fashion and home decoration worlds. Founded in 1924 by visionary couple Albert and Marie-Louise Lesage and later expanded by their son François, the illustrious embroidery house has conquered the world. As a resident of 19M since 2021, Maison Lesage will be honoured at La Galerie du 19M in a brand-new exhibition retracing its exceptional career, from September 26th to January 5th. This immersive exhibition is a didactic and detailed panorama of the techniques and stages of production, presenting the heritage and excellence of the Maison. To showcase the essence and the living memory of Maison Lesage, the creative scenography includes sound capsules, allowing visitors to discover its history and have a look behind the scenes, in the workshops. The exhibition pays tribute to the work of its craftsmen, to the power of its creative dialogue with the most prestigious customers, and to the richness of its heritage. At the exhibition opening, we met Stéphane Ashpool, Bruno Pavlovsky, Jean-françois Lesage, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Pascal Morand, Hubert Barrère, Jean-Pierre Blanc, Marion Mailaender and Paul-Emmanuel Reiffers.
